Under this agreement, domestic customers who find themselves in difficult situations will be able to request payment in installments of up to 12 months for both electricity and gas bills.

Enel’s plan provides for installments of a constant amount and, regardless of the amount of the invoice, there are no advances or minimum installments.

As specified by Enel in its press release, whoever requests the payment in installments will not see interest on arrears or deferral interest applied.

How to request the payment of electricity and gas bills in installments

The consumer associations involved in the agreement with Enel to agree on this measure are: Acu, Adiconsum, Adoc, Adusbef, Altroconsumo, Users Association of Radio and TV services, Asso-consum, Assoutenti, Casa del Consumatore, Cittadinanzattiva, Codacons, Codes, Confconsumatori, Federconsumatori, Consumer League, Consumer Movement, Citizen Defense Movement, Consumer Defense Union and National Consumers Union.

The installment plan can be requested on all invoices issued in 2022 and up to the date of 30 April. Access to this procedure is aimed at domestic customers and it is not necessary to wait for the invoices to be paid to expire.
